The gathering in Kragujevac showcased that the INNO-VERSE platform is gaining increasing attention as a valuable tool for companies and academic institutions looking to enhance their processes and develop new innovations through artificial intelligence. The event highlighted the platform's capabilities for business optimization and research support.

Kragujevac, May 31, 2024 — At a gathering held at the Rectorate of the University of Kragujevac, as part of the Innovative Serbia 2024 program, the advanced AI platform INNO-VERSE was presented. The event was organized by the Kruševac Business Incubator, with the support of the Center for Digital Transformation (CDT), the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the Data Center Kragujevac, the NTP Čačak, and Mind Park.

Nemanja Jovičić, coordinator of the Business Incubator in Kragujevac, opened the event and thanked all the partners for their support. Jovičić emphasized the importance of such events for enhancing cooperation between the academic community and the industry.

Katarina Lapčević introduced the program, highlighting significant progress and interest in the application of artificial intelligence in various economic sectors, particularly in healthcare. "The most important aspect of artificial intelligence is that humans are at the beginning and the end of the process," said Lapčević. She also emphasized the importance of ethics and safety, stating that AI should bring security, not danger.

Martina Manojlović, director of the Business Incubator, presented the Innovative Serbia 2024 project. "The Business Incubator was established by the city of Kruševac in 2008 with the idea of helping small and medium-sized enterprises in their operations," said Manojlović. The incubator encompasses 1600 m² of office space, with 55 users, 10 startup tenants, and over 85 companies that have successfully continued their operations after staying in the incubator.

Nikola Bunjević, project manager at the Center for Digital Transformation, presented the possibilities and advantages of the INNO-VERSE platform, which helps companies optimize their business processes, develop new products, and personalize services. "The INNO-VERSE platform provides companies with advanced tools for process optimization, innovative product development, and service personalization," said Bunjević. He emphasized the importance of government support in the development of the AI sector, including mandatory subjects in schools and a national AI strategy.

The panel discussion was led by Dragan Tanasković, sales director at the Center for Digital Transformation, who answered participants' questions about various aspects of the INNO-VERSE platform and the work and progress of the Center for Digital Transformation and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. "Our goal is to enrich this market with AI solutions and to help micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises educate themselves and implement these solutions. The INNO-VERSE platform offers exactly what modern companies need to stay competitive in the market," said Tanasković.

Participants asked questions about how the platform can improve productivity and efficiency in companies and public institutions, as well as the possibilities for integrating new tools. There was also discussion about plans to expand the functionality of INNO-VERSE, including the introduction of new tools for analyzing market trends and competitiveness. Tanasković emphasized the importance of ethical and safety aspects in the application of AI, to ensure that solutions bring benefits and security to users.

Representatives of the State Data Center spoke about the importance of security and data management in modern business systems.

During the panel discussion, it was clearly highlighted that interest in using artificial intelligence to improve business is growing. Participants expressed great enthusiasm for the possibilities that the INNO-VERSE platform provides in this context. "We see a significant increase in the adoption of AI technologies among companies, as well as in academic institutions that recognize the value of these tools for improving efficiency and innovation," said one of the panelists. The INNO-VERSE platform was particularly praised for its ability to support students and academic staff in research and development, significantly contributing to the overall advancement of the educational and business sectors.

This event was part of a broader initiative to promote the INNO-VERSE platform, which has already been presented in Niš and Kruševac, and will be presented in Novi Sad on June 24, 2024.
