The Center for Digital Transformation (CDT) and the Center for Carbon Management and Sustainable Business (CKM) have signed a cooperation agreement on the promotion of IntCO₂ – the first regional CBAM MRV software tailored to the needs of Western Balkan companies and specialized in establishing an internal CBAM MRV system for steel and aluminum commodity producers.

The cooperation is aimed at presenting IntCO₂ solutions to companies in Serbia that are covered by the requirements of the EU CBAM regulation, as well as supporting their preparation for monitoring and accounting of emissions, CBAM reporting and verification.

IntCO₂ enables companies to establish a comprehensive, automated and traceable system for monitoring, billing and CBAM reporting, while organizing the data, calculations and documentation needed for CBAM verification of embedded emissions.

Through the cooperation of CDT and CKM, joint promotional and information activities are planned with the aim of bringing domestic producers closer to the practical requirements of the CBAM regulation and the way of establishing a reliable internal MRV system.

The first expert meeting will be held on 29 September in the Ceremonial Hall of the Kragujevac City Assembly, focusing on the establishment of an internal, verifiable system for CBAM reporting.

Within the conference, the IntCO₂ software solution will be presented, with the participation of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the verification organization.
